Anxiety is getting the better of some of us throughout this lockdown. One way to tackle this anxiety is to practice relaxation methods and designating 10-20 mins per day to perform them. You can choose whatever relaxes you best in this period. This could include:

Yoga

Yoga is a really popular way to relax the mind and body. There are loads of different ways to do it, allowing you to be super flexible with what you are comfortable with.

Walking

Walking is one of the best ways to get out of the house during lockdown. Going on a nice long walk can be very relaxing, and you can even listen to mindful podcasts as you walk to keep you entertained and relaxed.

Meditation

Meditation is another really good way to relax yourself. Like yoga, there are lots of different variations that you can practice, and it is easy to do within the comfort of you home.

Exercise

Working out or running is another really good way to relieve any stress that you have. Being stuck in lockdown can leave your muscles feeling stiff and tight, and this often can lead to people feeling anxious, so any form of exercise can help to loosen your muscles and help you to feel more relaxed. Exercise also releases endorphins which make you feel better, further reducing stress.
